Minnesota Nice-Related Books and Movies Minnesota 101: Everything You Wanted to Know About Minnesota and Were Going to Ask Anyway.  This is such a terrific book if you're newly landed in Minnesota (or even if you've been here awhile and want a deeper dive).  You might find the sections on culture and the people to be especially helpful in adjusting to Minnesota Nice. These next books are admittedly not fun reading, but they could make your life a heck of a lot easier here in Minnesota: Overcoming Passive-Aggression: How to Stop Hidden Anger from Spoiling Your Relationships, Career and Happiness.  We've heard of many a transplant who could not deal with the passive-aggressiveness they've experienced in Minnesota.  If you're one of those folks, this is definitely worth a read.  Very helpful book with strong reviews. (Plus, the Kindle version is only about $10). Blindsided--Recognizing and Dealing with Passive-Aggressive Leadership in the Workplace. If you really are only dealing with this at work, this books runs for only $8 on Amazon - not a huge investment for the help it could give you. Even better, there's a Kindle version for just $4.00 - about the cost of a latte.
